WHO ARE WE?

The Faculty of Sciences of Education, Social Sciences and Psychology was established in 2016 as a result of an extensive institutional reform process carried out within the University of Pitești and operates according to H.G. no. 654 / 14.09.2016 which   approves the nomenclature of fields and specializations / programs of university studies and the structure of higher education institutions, with the following structure:
 

Bachelor Degree Programs:
Pedagogy of primary and preschool education (Piteşti, Rm. Vâlcea, Câmpulung, Slatina and Alexandria);
Psychology
Journalism 
Social Assistance

Human resources

Along with these license studies, FSESSP runs the following programs:
a Romanian language preparatory year;
a professional conversion program on the Pedagogy of primary and preschool education and Psychology.
The psycho-pedagogical training programs of students (Level I) and master students (Level II), who want a teaching career. These programs also run postgradually for the graduates of the Master's degree programs.

Master study programs:
Educational Management (Piteşti and Slatina);
Early education (Piteşti, Rm. Vâlcea and Alexandria)
Educational counseling;
Mentorship for the professionalization of the teaching career;
Didactics of foreign languages;
Clinical psychology - evaluation and intervention;
Organizational communication;
Management of social and health services;
Counseling in social assistance.
