The LOGOS Language Competence Certificate certifies a candidate’s level of proficiency in a foreign language in accordance with the European Union’s language policy and standards, as defined by the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages: A1 (beginner), A2 (elementary), B1 (threshold), B2 (intermediate), C1 (advanced), C2 (proficiency/excellence).

CLS Logos issues certificates for Romanian, English, French, and German.

The LOGOS Language Competence Certificate is obtained following an assessment of the candidate’s language skills acquired in formal, non-formal, or informal contexts: listening and reading comprehension, as well as spoken and written production. The grades for each skill and their total are indicated on the certificate.

The Language Competence Certificate may be used for admission to non-philological university programs (Bachelor’s and Master’s levels), admission to doctoral programs, study scholarships, employment, and obtaining citizenship.

The language proficiency tests are intended for young adults and adults who wish to have their language skills assessed and certified, regardless of their educational or professional background. The LOGOS Language Centre ensures equal access to testing in accordance with the principles of equal opportunities and non-discrimination, without distinction based on race, colour, ethnic or social origin, nationality, citizenship, language, religion or beliefs, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, disability, or any other characteristic protected under applicable legislation.
