ARGUMENT
The program aims at the professional development of the academic staff, from two perspectives: on the one hand, deepening of the didactic competences at the level of the Counseling and Orientation curricular area (compulsory in the educational framework); on the other hand, by acquiring complementary competences in the field of Educational Counseling, thus responding to the professionalisation needs of the teaching staff in relation to the requirements of the student-centered education. The program aims at a synthetic approach to the issue of Educational Counseling in order to optimize the educational activities in the pre-university education.

PURPOSE The Master's program of Educational Counseling consists in the knowledge of the modern concepts and theories in the field of Educational counseling, the principles of design, realization, evaluation of the didactic approach in the Counseling and Orientation curricular area, as well as in the development of didactic-methodological skills in teaching / learning / evaluation of the Counseling and Guidance curricular area.

Designing the Counseling and Orientation curriculum area

Managing the communication relationships within school / extra-curricular groups through appropriate use of counseling strategies
Personal development and student careers through counseling and guidance strategies
Performing studies and analysis in the educational field.

CONDITIONS FOR ADMISSION TO THE MASTER PROGRAM EDUCATIONAL COUNSELING:
At the admission contest for the master's degree program, the average of the diploma examination (license) - Mdiploma - is 100%.
The general grade, which forms the basis of the candidates' classification, is calculated as follows:
Obs. All grades are calculated to 2 decimal places, without rounding.
Candidates will be placed on a list in descending order according to the general grade (Mgen).
Selection from candidates with equal grades - admitted on the last subsidized place, or on the last fee-paying place, within the approved number of places - will be made by considering the grade the candidate obtained at the previous graduated study program;
Should there still be candidates with the same general grade, their grade from the baccalaureate will be taken into account.
