The LOGOS Language Competence Certificate certifies a candidate’s level of proficiency in a foreign language in accordance with the European Union’s language policy and standards, as defined by the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages: A1 (beginner), A2 (elementary), B1 (threshold), B2 (intermediate), C1 (advanced), C2 (proficiency/excellence).

CLS Logos issues certificates for Romanian, English, French, and German.

The LOGOS Language Competence Certificate is obtained following an assessment of the candidate’s language skills acquired in formal, non-formal, or informal contexts: listening and reading comprehension, as well as spoken and written production. The grades for each skill and their total are indicated on the certificate.

The Language Competence Certificate may be used for admission to non-philological university programs (Bachelor’s and Master’s levels), admission to doctoral programs, study scholarships, employment, and obtaining citizenship.
