Registration for the Language Proficiency Test
Booking a seat for the language proficiency test is done based on an application submitted by completing the form:

The candidate may choose either to take a test for a specific level or a progressive test (through which a level will be determined).
Documents required for registration for the language proficiency test:

identity card / passport

student card (if applicable, only for students enrolled at universities in Romania)

copy of the receipt proving payment of the certification fee
Registration will be confirmed only after these documents have been sent to the address logos@upb.ro.
Registration is nominal and cannot be transferred to another candidate. Fees are non-refundable if a candidate does not attend or is disqualified during the test. Detailed instructions regarding how the test will be conducted will be sent electronically to candidates before the test date.
Examinations may be organized onsite or online (candidates indicate their option in the examination application). Information regarding the date and place of the examination is sent to the candidate by email after the application is submitted and the examination fee is paid.
Online examination:
On the day of the examination, the candidate will receive an email invitation containing a link, an ID, and a password. The Zoom application must be downloaded. The candidate will be admitted to the Zoom session and their identity will be verified. The video camera must remain on for the entire duration of the test.
For the proper conduct of the examination, the candidate must have access to a computer and a phone, both equipped with a microphone and webcam.
The test has four parts:

Speaking (the candidate must answer questions of varying difficulty, for example based on a text or images).
For the following three stages, the candidate will receive a link to a testing platform:

Listening comprehension (listening to audio/video materials and answering questions related to what was heard/viewed)

Reading and Use of Language (understanding a text and checking grammar knowledge)

Writing (writing one or more texts on a given topic).
The duration of the test varies depending on the type of test requested (a test for a specific level or a progressive test).
